ARE YOU THIRSTY FOR GOD?

Have you ever been thirsty? Sure you have, we all have. There is nothing better than a big glass of cold water to someone who is thirsty.

Let me ask you this, have you ever been thirsty for God? Do you thirst for Him in your life? Do you thirst for His wisdom and His will in all that you do? We should all be thirsty for God. Most Christians today have lost that thirst.

You remember how you felt when you were first saved? You couldn't get enough of God. That is how we should be all the time. I don't care if you've been saved five minutes or fifty years. Think about it for a moment, how thirsty are you? Do you thirst to see the lost saved, to see your church grow, to see a revival break out like in the old days?

God is the same God now as He was then, HE HAS NOT CHANGED. He can do today what He did back then and more if we will get thirsty enough. I know that when you are thirsty all you want is something that will quench that thirst. However we should all have a desire to get thirsty for God, and pray that the thirst is never quenched.

If we as Christians would get thirsty again for the things of God, there is no telling what He would do.
